Build 5

This brand new version of Bean Shooters is the final itch.io version of the game and the next version will be on steam sometime in may of this year (2022)

So let's talk about some of the new features that are currently in the game or will be in the future!

Added to Build 5

- new level design with different mechanics

- new menu and design of textures

- Close to Desktop button, Multiplayer button (coming soon), Chapter Select , Level Select, One level (for testing purposes), etc.

-Movement sensitivity has been slightly tweaked to make the game more playable and smooth, tweaked wall hitbox and decreased it by 10% to prevent wall peaking, increased AI difficulty by 50% in singleplayer mode, new tutorial level, increased payer hitbox by 30%

What is Coming to Build 5

- New weapons such as: the sniper long scoped range, Can of beans used as an explosive, Can opener for melee speed attacks, pistol short range but fast, coffee pot that increases speed, and other powerups, weapons, and boosts.

- Gun Rarities, Grey, Common. Blue, Rare. Purple, Mythic.

- Multiplayer: private games, Public games, td, ffa, and zombies

- Map Editor: to allow players to build and create their own special maps (random players will have their levels put into the game as a permanent level until the foreseeable future.

- Chapter 2 release: This chapter will involve several new mechanics for the player to adapt and overcome to, these new mechanics involve a open world style of mechanics, such as: crafting, upgrade weapons tools and armor, fight new types of AI and enemies to fight with different and unique fighting styles and this chapter will need to have some puzzle solving techniques to complete each level in this chapter. Happy hunting!

- Chapter 3 release: This chapter is set right after you leave the wilderness and you find a city that is under attack by the final boss Gucci the gummy bear, he is unstoppable, or so it seems, this chapter forces the player to utilize the previous mechanics you have learned and puts them at full throttle, you will be under fire from every single different type of enemy all attacking you throughout the maps and levels, you will need to survive in order to defeat Gucci. 

- I am also open to any suggestion whether it be help with a bug or glitch, or if it is a suggestion for an item or update you would like to see in the future, I am happy and open to listen!

When will Build 6 be released?

- Build 6 will most likely be on Steam first and foremost and will be coming to all computers sometime in the second half of 2022.

- This build will yet again change everything about Bean Shooters.

-How often will Bean Shooters be updated?

- I am trying my hardest to release an update every 2 - 4 weeks as best I can

-When will the final update for Bean Shooters come out?

- Bean Shooters will get its final update most likely in the year 2023 or 2024 for the final MAJOR update. This project means a lot to me and I won't stop working on it until it is as close to perfection as I can possibly get. Now this does not mean that I will stop updating the game every once in a while because as I said the last major update will most likely release sometime in the year 2023 - 2024, but I will continue to work on the game after that as much as I can.
